It enables you to easily track your donations and keep an eye on your ministry income, synchonized with many, many ministry donation systems automatically, and helps you stay in touch with your ministry partners.
MPDx is offered for free from Cru, but they are unable to offer support to non-Cru staff.
Partner Essentials is offfered for a modest fee from Solertiad with greater support.
Basically, it is the same software ... just with or without end-user support.
